Scott Centala knows what performing at an elite level actually requires — and what separates athletes and leaders who sustain high performance from those who plateau under pressure. As a former starting pitcher and closer for the Kansas City Royals and Minnesota Twins, with experience at the Olympic level and in championship teams across collegiate and professional athletics, he spent years inside environments where performance standards are non-negotiable.
Scott served as a collegiate coach before building one of the deepest practitioner track records in Teamalytics' history. Over 15+ years, he has worked with Fortune 500 executives, military leaders, and elite sports organizations across the U.S. and internationally — including consulting with many Major League Baseball, National Football League, National Basketball Association, and National Hockey League teams on the Teamalytics 360 in the pre-draft process and advising general managers on building their organizations.
At Teamalytics, Scott brings particular strength to the Forge stage of the method — where behavioral data and awareness get translated into operating reality. He has a practitioner's instinct for what it takes to get a team to genuinely commit — not just agree — and for guiding them through the pressure and conflict that either deepens cohesion or exposes its absence. His background across business, sports, military, government, and education gives him an unusually broad read on the leadership dynamics he encounters.
Scott and his wife, Sharon, live in Tyler, Texas.
