Karen is passionate about working with entrepreneurs, executives, and leaders striving to achieve their best life and contributing their talents in a fulfilling career.
Karen has consulted and trained in blue-chip companies as well as a wide variety of small to mid- size, privately held businesses and nonprofit organizations. Her career includes serving as Partner at HRC Certified Public Accounting firm, and Director of Administration of the Finance Shared Services Center at MGM Resorts International.
A proven leader and executive coach, Durkin brings a career building business expertise to bear in her work with business leaders and executives. She is a top- rated coach and holds a Professional Coach Certification from the International Coach Federation.
Karen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Texas and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisiana. She served as an Adjunct Professor in the Executive MBA program in the Lee School of Business at UNLV.
Karen enjoys adventure, travel, and reading to learn about new people and cultures. She and her husband John have been married for 36 amazing years and reside in Colorado. They are the proud parents and biggest fans of their two amazing children, Casey and Joy.
