Garry Thompson spent 30 years in environments where leadership failure has immediate consequences. As a U.S. Army Colonel and Apache helicopter pilot, he led organizations across the 82nd Airborne, 101st Airborne, and 2nd Infantry Divisions — in combat and in training environments that demanded the same standard. His battalion-level command was responsible for over one million aircraft movements per year; his strategic role at the National Airborne Operations Center ensured continuity of command for national-level leadership in the most critical scenarios the U.S. military plans for.

As Commandant (President) of the Army Warrant Officer Career College, Garry led the design and delivery of leadership development programming for Army Warrant Officers nationwide — building a curriculum that drew support from prominent national leaders. He later advised the Iraqi Army aviation forces Commander, extending his leadership impact across coalition environments.

At Teamalytics, Garry works with senior leaders in PE-backed and private organizations — surfacing the behavioral data that reveals where leadership friction is slowing execution, helping teams focus their energy on the constraints that matter most, and guiding them through the Forge: the phase where pressure and accountability either build a team or expose its fault lines. His military background isn't a credential he references — it's the lens through which he reads every room he walks into.

Garry and his wife, Mary, live in Panama City Beach, Florida.
