Flip Flippen
Founder and Chairman

Flip Flippen built the intellectual foundation that Teamalytics stands on. As the founder of Flippen Group — one of North America's largest leadership and team development companies — he developed the constraint-based approach to human performance that the Teamalytics method is built around: the insight that what limits a leader matters more than what they already do well, and that removing those constraints unlocks performance more reliably than any development program.

A New York Times bestselling author, psychotherapist, and social entrepreneur, Flip and his wife Susan were named Ernst & Young Entrepreneurs of the Year — the first couple in the award's history to receive that recognition together. His first book, The Flip Side, was released in nine languages and became an instant bestseller; his second book, Your Third Story, reached the top of its Amazon category. He has contributed to hundreds of publications, including Oprah Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and SUCCESS magazine.

Flippen Group was recognized by Texas Monthly magazine as one of the Best Companies to Work For in Texas. Over more than 35 years, Flip has built and refined the frameworks that define how Teamalytics surfaces behavioral data, focuses on binding constraints, and guides teams through the pressure that either builds them or breaks them.

Today, Flip serves as Founder and Chairman, providing strategic counsel to the Teamalytics senior advisory team and working with selected clients where his depth of experience is the right fit.

Flip and his wife, Susan, live in College Station, Texas.
